David Lucado is Britney Spears’ New Boyfriend (PHOTOS)

Princess of Pop Britney Spears is now dating David P. Lucado. He insists they’re just friends, but the couple went on a romantic dinner date on Valentine’s Day and had golfing dates over the past week.

David is originally from Appomattox, Virginia, but moved to Atlanta after high school and later to L.A. because of a girl! That relationship ended a few months ago. He now lives in Agoura Hills, CA, since 2011.

He was a good student growing up and he loves golf. According to the people who knows him, David is a well-liked, all-around fun-loving guy, humble, and totally down-to-earth. It was totally unexpected that he’d date Britney Spears, because he is not the type of boyfriend we have seen her with, he is the exact opposite of a Hollywood guy.

Reportedly, Britney is heading to Las Vegas, she will begin her residency in Sin City. We still don’t know which casino Britney Spears will call home in the near future, but we know she has been given some “strict rules” to follow during her stay. Since the casino has a vested interest in Spears and her show, everyone wants to make sure the star is on her best behavior and in good health.

An insider told InTouch Weekly:

“She has to have a handler or security with her at all times. She even has a curfew. They really are going to be monitoring her behavior and moods to make sure she is feeling okay and ready for the hard hours of work she needs to put in each night.”

Well, seems like a “normal guy” is just what Britney needs in her life right now.
