The track-and-field-star-turned-bobsledder, that is a good description for 30-year-old Lori “Lolo” Jones. The Olympic Athlete from Iowa is currently looking to win her first Olympic medal at the 2014 winter games in Sochi. But we might also add to her list of athletic skills another sport; how about boxing or MMA fighting perhaps.

Lolo Jones allegedly punched a girl last Friday during an outing at a bar in Lake Placid New York, according to reports the other woman who was involved in the public cat fight is the stepdaughter of Tony Carlino who is a U.S. Bobsled and Skeleton Federation Hall of Famer.

The unladylike moment took place at Roomers Night Club were according to witness, former Olympic swimmer Amy Van Dyken who mentioned the scuffle on Monday on her Fox Sports radio show, said that Jones “knocked out” Carlino’s stepdaughter!

Although the reasons of the fight are still unclear it’s been said Carlino’s stepdaughter was “intoxicated” and apparently confronted Jones at wee hours in the club. After pushing her attacker down Jones left the joint but the stepdaughter followed outside, where she and the athlete were separated by bouncers! Whoa this other girl seems like she wasn’t giving up huh!

But who is she exactly?? And what were her reasons to get violent? Carlino who currently runs the Lake Placid track is married to Kathryn Chill so we assumed the woman identified in the fight as his stepdaughter must be the daughter of his wife Mrs. Kathryn Chill Carlino.

In fact she is also a fellow athlete, identified as Aja Evans. She was born May 12, 1988; Evans graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor’s of Science in Sports Management. She competed in the shot put and sprint events while in college, and made a smooth transition onto the ice. She blasted onto the scene in her rookie season by scoring 794 out of a possible 800 points on the combine test, winning the 2012 U.S. National Push Championship title, and breaking the start record with driver Jamie Greubel in 2012-2013 team selection races.

You can find her on Facebook here and see more of her career highlights.

On the other hand Jones rebel behavior raised eyebrows in the bobsledding community when she put a video on Vine complaining about the little money she received for a full season in the winter sport; so who knows if she’ll get some support on this one!

Luckily for her, police found no evidence of her actually punching the other woman and since no charges were filed the U.S. Bobsled and Skeleton Federation decided Tuesday night that it won’t discipline Olympic Lolo Jones. Phew! That was close!
