Kate Porter: Simpsons creator Sam Simon’s girlfriend

Party co-organizer and makeup artist Kate Porter lost her “best friend, love, hero” last night. That’s how she referred to Sam Simon.

She was the last girlfriend in the life of 59-year-old producer and Simpsons creator, Sam Simon who sadly lost his battle to colon cancer on Sunday.

Kate and Sam actually met 14-years-ago, they remained friends through the years and began dating sometime between 2013 and last year.

Kate tweeted Monday “Last night I lost my best friend, my love, my hero, my everything. My heart is truly broken. I will miss you. Iu [sic]”

According to her LinkedIn, Porter is a make up artist at BeautyKatering. She resides in Los Angeles and the couple shared his home.
