Yunice A has been identified as one of several man in connection with the terrifying October 2016 Paris robbery in which reality star, Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint.
It seems Kim Kardashian has started to see the light in her robbery case.
According to major news sites, Yunice A. is facing charges of armed robbery in an organized gang, kidnapping and criminal association.
Earlier this week, French network TF1/LCI reported that 17 men had been arrested. Ten suspects — nine men and one woman — remained in custody Thursday.
At least three of the 17, among them Yunice A, have confessed to their involvement with the jewel heist.
Yunice A is an older man, sources say he is 63. Accoridng to ENews, Marceau B., 64, faces charges of concealment in a organized gang and association of criminals. Finally, 45-year-old Florus H. was charged on counts of complicity in a robbery with a gun, complicity in abduction and sequestration and association with criminals.
As previously reported, police have identified the individuals who were directly involved with the robbery, with a total of six individuals linked to the incident.
Five of them (ranging in age from 54 to 72) and a sixth accomplice who waited outside and drove the getaway car that night. TF1/LCI noted that the sixth accomplice is the son of one of the suspected robbers. Kardashian’s Paris limo driver, who was previously questioned, has since been released.
Prosecutors filed the first charges against Yunice A and also requested the suspect’s continued detention. It is believed Yunice A and the others forced their way into the private apartment where Kardashian West was staying during Paris Fashion Week in October.
Kim took a three month absence from social media after she was robbed at gunpoint by the masked men inside her Paris apartment. The terrifying episode had the 36-year-old bound, gagged and held at gunpoint as the robbers stole nearly $11 million worth of her jewelry.
The mom of two, announced on Instagram that she’s jetting to Dubai for her first major public appearance since the Paris ordeal.
