Cleopatra Bernard is the devastated mother of late rapper, XXXTentacion real name Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy –who was gunned down on June 18^th.

Most recent reports on his death say authorities have captured a suspect linked to Onfroy’s killing outside a motor sports store in Deerfield Beach, Fla. Dedrick Devonshay Williams, was arrested after a traffic stop shortly before 7 p.m. in Pompano Beach two days later.

XXXTentacion had begun to make a name for himself and was highly influential on a generation of young rappers. He began releasing music on the online platform SoundCloud and released two albums during his lifetime. His first album was released last August via Empire Distribution. It debuts at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart while his second album dropped this March, via his label –Bad Vibes Forever. It debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard album chart, selling the equivalent of 131,000 units in its first week –according to Vulture.

Certainly a gifted rapper, XXXTentacion was equally controversial, at the time of his death it was revealed he was facing assault charges and had been previously accused of violent crimes.

Now another piece of the puzzle comes out after its revealed Onfroy was in a relationship and his current girlfriend who is yet to be identified –is currently pregnant with his child. The happy news was revealed on Instagram by Onfroy’s mom, Cleopatra Bernard.

Cleopatra Bernard shared on her Instagram account an image of a sonogram and captioned “He left us a final gift”

In addition to Onfroy Cleopatra is also the mother to another son named, Aiden. Bernard joined hundreds of people at a vigil for her late son outside of RIVA Motorsports in Deerfield Beach, Florida.

She held a memorial event at her home on Wednesday (June 20), where she announced to those in attendance that police had made an arrest in connection with her son’s murder.

Following her son’s death, Cleopatra Bernard has taken control of all of her son’s platforms. She is also holding a charity event planned for this weekend.

During happier times, Cleopatra Bernard documented her son’s career –often sharing images of his achievements and videos of his performances. She has nearly 600k followers on Instagram. In honor of her mother, XXXTentacion had her name tattooed across his chest.
