Nozima Odilova
Nozima Odilova is the young wife of Sayfullo Saipov, the 29-year-old Uzbek citizen, and commercial truck driver who killed 8 people and injured 11 more when he drove a rented white Home Depot truck down a West Street bike path in lower Manhattan around 3:05 p.m. Tuesday. Saipov, allegedly struck cyclists and pedestrians before hitting a school bus; Officer Ryan Nash shot in the abdomen but is expected to survive.
According to Saipov’s former neighbors Saipov, was friendly, hard worker yet quiet man.
“He is very good guy, he is very friendly… Saipov is like little brother… he look at me like big brother,” Matkarov was quoted as saying by phone from his home in Miamisburg, Ohio.
“My kids like him too, he is always playing with them. He is playing all the time,” Matkarov reportedly said.
“Always used to work. He wouldn’t go to parties or anything. He only used to come home and rest and leave and go back to work.”
Furthermore, 24-year-old Nozima Odilova, from Tashkent, Uzbekistan, was 19 when she and Sayfullo, then 25, tied the knot on April 12, 2013, in Summit County, Ohio. They reside in Paterson, New Jersey, with their three children. Before that, she lived in Stow, Ohio.
