Meet 33-year-old Roy Lee Haskell, unfortunately he is not making major headlines for his good deed but on the contrary. Haskell was taken into custody yesterday after he allegedly killed 6 people! Among them, four children and two adults.
The cold blooded killer, allegedly entered a home dressed as a FedEx delivery man and proceeded to execute his original seven-targets. He was on his way to the home of his estranged wife’s parents when officers closed in on him and eventually captured him after a three-hour standoff!
The suspect disguised himself as a FedEx guy and was able to enter the home of Stephen and Katie Stay while they were out. He forced himself in after the surviving victim –15-year-old –Cassidy Stay told him her parents weren’t home after he had returned for a second time.
Cassidy said she recognized the man as her “ex-uncle.” One inside he tied up the children while he awaited for the parents.
At some point, two boys, 4 and 14, two girls, 7 and 9, a 39-year-old man and a 33-year-old-woman, were all shot dead in the house, “execution style” with bullets to the back of their heads. While Cassidy –who was shot in the head and is in critical condition –played dead until he left. While all this happened Ronald demanded to know where his ex-wife was located, but they advised they did not know.
According to Miss Stay, her uncle was going to continue the killing spree with her grandparents, but cops responded to the home after a 911 call at 6 p.m. local time from Cassidy. The chase began, while in route to the second house, Haskell was pursued and surrendered to around a dozen police cruisers and two SWAT vehicles; police were able to corner the suspect in a cul-de-sac.
Authorities have told the media they believe a domestic dispute with his wife –who is believed to live in another state –is what triggered the killing spree.
Haskell was arrested and will face six counts of capital murder.
