Lorena Quaranta Italian Nurse Killed by Boyfriend who thought she gave him Coronavirus

27-year-old Lorena Quaranta a brilliant and hardworking nurse from Italy was killed by her boyfriend Antonio De Pace,28, by strangulation, because he was certain she exposed him to Coronavirus. He later tried to take his own life, Lorena’s colleagues at the hospital were the ones who saved his life.

Both Ms. Quaranta and her boyfriend Mr. De Pace tested negative for Coronavirus.

Just a few days before killing Lorena, Antonio praised her on Facebook.

Mr. De Pace from Vibo Valentina in Calabria studied odontology at the Universita Degli Studi di Messina & ITC Galileo Galilei, after killing Lorena, he called police to tell them what he did; when police arrived at the home in Messina, they found Lorena’s lifeless body and De Pace with his wrists slashed.

“I killed her because she gave me coronavirus,” Antonio De Pace told them.

Lorena was pursuing her medical & surgery degree from the University of Messina
