Lauren Isackson has been named in the recent college admission scandal as one of the students who cheated her way in.



The nationwide college admissions cheating and recruitment bribery scheme that has put the lives of those involved upside down, was led by William ‘Rick’ Singer –who helped students cheat on college entrance exams or pose as recruited athletes to get admitted.

That is the case of Lauren Isackson who, according to reports, was admitted to UCLA in 2016 and her name appeared on the 2017 soccer team, however she has not had any playing experience.

Lauren appears on the Bruins’ 2017 women’s soccer team roster listed as a midfielder. The profile goes on to say she has an honorable mention all-league selection for the West Bay Athletic League in California in 2014. However, prosecutors say she has never played competitive soccer before attending UCLA.

Lauren Alyssa Isackson is the daughter of Bruce and Davina Isackson; her father, is the co-founder of the real estate investment firm WP investments. Both her parents have been charged by the FBI.

According to the Los Angeles Times, her parents paid for her admittance with Facebook stock. The couple began contact with Singer in 2015, and allegedly gave Rick Singer 2,150 Facebook shares valued at $250,000 in the form of donations to his charity, the Key Worlwide Foundation. In return, Singer came up with a fake athletic profile for Lauren.

According to her LinkedIn, Lauren Isackson is a UCLA student with interests in sociology, psychology, communications and kinesiology. The pretty blonde is currently listed as an educator at Lululemon. She is also an intern at The Wall Group. Prior work includes front desk receptionist at Pure Barre and Kinesiology Teacher’s assistant at Woodside Priory School.
