Now that we have a wedding date set, Meghan will have to learn what it means to be married to a prince. According to royal expert, Katie Nicholl, Markle is going to have to learn royal dining etiquette, proper behavior for state dinners, and the ins and outs of royal life.
Katie told media, the actress is getting lessons from the very best, meaning her own boyfriend Harry. Nicholl says the bride to be, is learning everything from knowing the rules of curtsying to handling herself at State events. Meghan will have to bend for the Queen, Kate, Beatrice, Eugenie and others.
She needs to know how to address dignitaries, and the rules of royal fashion. She also has to learn royal etiquette at the table… how to hold conversations, and on and on.
Katie Nicholl who is based in London with her husband and children, has been reporting about the royal family for over a decade. Her work has been acclaimed for breaking a series of scoops. According to her website, it was her who revealed that William and Kate were back together after their famous split in 2007, and how the couple made a secret pact to marry in the Seychelles.
Nicholls also was the first to reveal the couple would wed in 2011 scooping her rivals. Katie was the only journalist to publish the official wedding guest list before the royal wedding.
Katie Nicholl is a Mail on Sunday’s Royal Correspondent and Prince Harry’s biographer. Katie who is also featured on Vanity Fair appears regularly on Channel 9 Australia, CNN, BBC and ITV.
She is the author of “Kate: The Future Queen” and her upcoming book is titled, “Harry: Love, Life, Loss.”
She and her husband, are the proud parents to two children; four-year-old daughter, Matilda and a baby boy born earlier this year and whom they named George.
