Kate who is also a comedian and performs with her husband on tours, has said of the experience:
We both love that interaction with the audience, and how much it teaches you in real time, which is a kind of learning and growing as a performer you can only really experience through live performance. It’s so much fun getting to share laughter with both your best friend and a room full of people night after night. It doesn’t hurt that I got to wear a beautiful sequined and crystal embellished jumpsuit on stage every night, and I have to admit, I miss having a daily excuse to wear it!
What would Kate think about her husband getting arrested after he slapped his Uber driver?

The lovely Kate Gorney released a statement in support of her husband after he was recently accused of a violent sexual assault that took place during his college years.
Kate, a devoted wife defended her man saying the alleged victim named only as ‘Sarah’ has been obsessed with the couple’s relationship ever since the three of them all met at George Washington University. Her full statement released on Twitter read in part
We met this woman over a decade ago while studying together in college, she attempted to break us up back then by plotting for over a year before making contradictory claims and accusations. She attempted to discredit both of our voices and use us against one another by trying to portray Kate to be a continuous abuse victim of T.J. (further efforts to hurt the two of us). She was asked to leave our university comedy group because of worrisome and disturbing behavior, which angered her immensely. She then became fixated on our relationship, and began telling people around campus, ‘I’m going to destroy them” and ‘I’m going to ruin him.’
