Julian Assange, the Wikileaks founder and award winning journalist has remained in the Embassy of Ecuador in London since 2012 –unable to leave without being arrested for breaching his bail conditions.

He came to prominence due to a number of American documents he leaked into the online platform back in 2010. Following a US criminal investigation and a request for his extradition to Sweden he surrendered himself to UK authorities and spent 10 days in solitary confinement.

He was released on bail and was granted asylum by Ecuador in 2012.

Julian paul Assanger was born July 3, 1971; the Aussie moved round as a kid while raised by his mother and stepfather. As a teenager he discovered his fascination for computers.

Assange continued to pursue a career as a computer programmer and software developer. An intelligent mind, he studied mathematics at the University of Melbourne.

In the early 90’s he broke-in to the master terminal for Nortel, a telecommunications company.

He officially launched Wikileaks in 2007. For his efforts, the internet activist earned the Time magazine “Person of the Year” title in 2010.

Prior to his role in publishing secret American documents, the Australian born had been questioned months earlier in Sweden over allegations of sexual assault and rape –accusations he denied.

Assange who is a father of one adult son, has been described as promiscuous. Let’s take a look at his alleged girlfriends/partners.

He was married to a woman by the name of Teresa. The couple welcomed son, Daniel in 1989. It is not clear when the two separated.

In 2010, two women said they were sexually assaulted by the WikiLeaks editor. During the early stages of the case it also emerged, Assange slept around with women who offered themselves to him.

The two women accusing him said they would never have complained to police if he had agreed to take an HIV test.

He was also said to have bedded the girlfriend of a well-known American reporter after Assange seduced her at a Stockholm restaurant.

Sarah Harrison who plays a crucial role in the journalistic work of WikiLeaks –has also been linked to Julian Assange.

Most recently Assange has been romantically linked to former Playboy playmate, Pamela Anderson –who has visited him multiple times in London, causing a fury of speculation that they’re a couple.
