Esteysi Sanchez DUI Suspect Drove with Victim on Windshield

Esteysi Sanchez is a young California woman ran over a man after spending the night partying. She drove for over a mile with the body of the unidentified man lodge in the windshield of her car.

29-year-old Esteysi Sanchez Izazaga from Oceanside, California was driving home after a night drinking when she struck a pedestrian with such force that one of the man’s leg was ripped from his torso at the waist, the severed leg flew through the back window and landed on the truck of Sanchez’ teal Pontiac.

She drove for .75 miles with the man’s body lodged in her windshield until she got to her house, her husband called 911, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Esteysi Sanchez also known as Stacy Sanchez admitted to drinking and driving before she was charged with felony DUI and vehicular manslaughter.

The victim whose identity has not been revealed, was either on the street or the sidewalk at the time of the collision, his ID and keys were found inside his pants pockets.
