Rachid Redouane one of the terrorist that carried out a deadly attack which started on London Bridge on Saturday night. Redouane a pastry chef and the father of an 18-monthold girl with his estranged wife, Charisse O’Leary.

38-year-old Charisse O’Leary a London-born caretaker met her husband Rachid Redouane, 30, a Moroccan-Libyan pastry chef in Manchester in 2009; they started dating not long after that. O’Leary and Rachid subsequently moved to Ireland where they eventually tied the knot in 2012.

They welcomed their daughter Amina in 2015.  Their marriage turned sour due to his extremist views and Charisse’s refusal to become a Muslim. She said Redouane, refused to let their daughter eat pork, attend dance classes and watch television just in case it turns her gay.

‘He was always really selfish and I gave up so much for him. I was never going to convert and become a Muslim. There’s no way I was going to do that.’

They split up in January, Mrs. O’Leary said her husband didn’t visit their daughter enough, but he did however visited one last time on Saturday night, little did Charisse knew that the kiss he gave their 18-month-old girl was the last kiss he would ever give her.

After he left the flat in Barking he and his accomplices carried out an attack on London Bridge that left seven people death and 36 in critical condition. He was killed by Police.

Charisse O’Leary was arrested but later released without charge.
