Anthony Weiner, the disgraced former congressman has been sentenced to nearly two years in jail for sending explicit sexual content to a minor.

By now you are probably acquainted with the tumultuous sexual life of the former NY Mayor candidate. Weiner who stepped down from Congress in 2011 after the first of several sexting scandals became public –also lost his 2013 run for Mayor due to his sexual practices placing fifth in the Democratic primary.

Weiner, who graduated Brooklyn Technical High School in 1981 and SUNY Plattsburgh in 1985 –went to work for then-Congressman Charles Schumer, and, after more than six years working for Chuck in Washington and at home in Brooklyn, Anthony launched a long-shot bid for the City Council.

He ended up winning a six-way primary and a four-way general election to become – at the time – the youngest person ever elected to the City Council. In 1998 he became a congressman.

However, his days as a politician seem to be over for now. Weiner who is also required to register as a convicted sex offender –also lost his wife, Clinton aide, Huma Abedin who filed for divorce earlier this year after he pleaded guilty to sexting with a minor. The two share a five-year-old son together.

But let’s do a recap on how Weiner buried himself and ended up where he is now.

#1 Meagan Broussard

Back in 2011, it was reported that then married congressman used the social media website Twitter to send a link to a sexually suggestive picture of himself to a 21-year-old woman. Back then, he admitted to having sent a link to the photo, and other sexually explicit photos and messages to women both before and during his marriage.

He denied ever having met, or having had a physical relationship with any of the women.

Meagan Broussard, then 26, was identified as the woman who received “dozens of photos, emails, Facebook messages and cell phone call logs” from Anthony Weiner. The incident was called, Weinergate.

#2 Sydney Leathers and Carlos Danger

In 2013, Weiner –under the alias ‘Carlos Danger’ sent more pictures to a 22-year-old woman with whom Weiner had contact in late 2012. Sydney Leathers was identified at the young woman at the center of the second scandal.

#3 Sexting next to son

In August of 2016, it was reported once again that he had engaged in sexting with yet another woman. This time, the not very clever Weiner included sending one picture in July 2015 while lying in bed with his toddler son sleeping next to him.

#4 T-Dog

His serial sexting habit became criminal shortly after he began chatting online with a North Carolina high schooler on Jan. 23, 2016. The teen who appeared on TV told Inside Edition she contacted him via direct message on Twitter saying she was a huge fan.

The teen said she wanted to see if he was doing the ‘same antics.’ She also said things went downhill fast after he called her attractive.

Weiner used the alias ‘T-Dog’ to speak via Skype with the 15-year-old and asked her to display her naked body and touch herself.

Aside from serving 21-months behind bars, Weiner also got three years of supervised release and a $10,000 fine.
