Angelo Colon has been named as the late cousin of rapper, Meek Mill. According to reports, Mill’s young cousin is one of the victims of a string of violence in Philadelphia.

21-year-old Angelo Colon was allegedly shot and killed Tuesday night.

According to law enforcement, Angelo suffered a gunshot wound to his head and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Mill shared a snap of his cousin as a tribute. He captioned the image sharing his frustration over the violence in Philadelphia.

Meek Mill‘s cousin, Angelo Colon, is the victim of one of five Philadelphia murders in a 15-hour span.

The events begin with the deaths of 68-year-old woman, identified as Virginia McLaughlin, along with Lawrence Carty, 60, both dead of stab wounds.

According to NBC Philadelphia, a few hours later a shooting in Philadelphia’s Fairhill neighborhood left a 32-year-old man dead.

About two hours after that, just after 7:30 p.m., a man died after police say someone shot him several times.

About an our later, in West Philadelphia, a 24-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the back on Frazier Street near Media, in the Carroll Park neighborhood. Police said that victim was hospitalized in stable condition and officers arrested the suspected shooter.


Colon died after police say someone shot him in the head outside a take-out restaurant at 18th Street and Snyder Avenue.

Just minutes later, another man showed up at Albert Einstein Medical Center with gunshot wounds to his back, police said.
