Boston marathon blood bath has taken on the life of another Boston native, ¨the most lovable girl¨ she has been identified as Krystle Campbell.
Krysttle, a 29 year old from Medford, Mass. Attended the famous event to be supportive of a friend. She had gone with her best friend to take a picture of the friend’s boyfriend crossing the finish line on Monday afternoon. Her friend resulted seriously injured.
The lost has devastated the family, Krystle was ¨daddy’s little girl.¨
“My daughter was the most lovable girl. She helped everybody and I’m just so shocked right now. We’re just devastated.”
The words of William A. Campbell Jr. Krystle’s father. Here we encounter the grief, the sorrow and the indescribable pain any parent should never go through; Campbell’s father and her whole family might as well could think Krystle was a solider serving her time at war and receiving that heart breaking news she is fallen in duty. No parent should ever have to buried their child we think but for this family is now an appalling reality.
Her father had to endure the difficult task of getting the news but in the most heartbreaking ways as he initially thought his daughter Krystle was OK and it was her friend instead the one who had lost her life.
“We had the doctors come out and tell us everything they did (on the survivor) — and it wasn’t our daughter,”
Krystle was then declared missing, but within an our they found out the terrible truth when a Boston detective showed them a picture of Krystle among the three killed.
But this young girl was not a soldier; she shouldn’t have to face death like this; she was a restaurant manager that worked at a restaurant in nearby Arlington called Jimmy’s Steer House; she worked her whole life in the food industry working also as a catering manager for SUMMER SHACK. She was an animal lover and people just loved her.
Her mother, Patty describes her: ¨as a beautiful young lady;¨ and some of the comforting words of those who knew her are:
Krystle could easily have been described as the salt of the earth, but her complexity demands more.”
Krystle M. Campbell was born May 3, 1983. She graduated from Medford High School in 2001, according to her Facebook page, and attended UMass Boston. She lived in Medford, MA; then in Peabody, MA; after that from 2005-2011 she lived in Medford, MA.
