Sheila Ranea Crabtree- Ohio woman who Legally Changed her name to Sexy

Have you ever thought about changing your name? Do you hate it so much that makes you feel cursed by it? Well isn’t this a lucky world you live in, that you can change a first, common, regular name, like “Sheila” to, let’s say “Sexy.” I kid you not, you actually can and if you ever thought about it, there is someone who beat you to it! Meet 41-year-old Sexy Ranea Crabtree, formerly known as Sheila Ranea Crabtree.

Ms. Crabtree from Pataskala, Ohio walked out of a court yesterday with a brand new name, you can call her now: Sexy. Although we can’t possibly understand what was going through her mind when she actually went through with it, we think the judge who gave her the green light might actually be more cu-cu than her! Don’t get us wrong, we are all up for women high self steam and is perfectly fine when your partner, boyfriend, hubby, gives you a nice little nickname like “hey sexy” but to actually have your ID changed to “Sexy” ?? “It’s just one of those names that I can’t stand. I hate the fact that I have been cursed with it,” “My mom gave me my middle name of Ranea and my dad gave me my ugly name.” “I do wear a lot of Victoria’s Secret clothes and my husband calls me sexy all the time,” “I really want to do Sexy because it’s kinda like my personality. I just love to be adventurous, have fun and do all kinds of things.”

When the moment of truth came judge Robert Hoover asked her

“What is your reasoning behind changing your first name to Sexy?”

“I feel like I’m a free-spirited person, I love to have fun, and this is the last piece to make my life complete,”

And it was a done deal. Apparently Sexy who is a mother of teenage daughters were also in agreement and of course husband -James Crabtree didn’t see anything wrong with her “Sexy” wife’s request. Now, not only her hubby will call her sexy but other’s can too.
