Nathan Matthews: Becky Watts’ Stepbrother/ Killer

28-year-old Nathan Matthews is the stepbrother of Becky Watts, and he has been arrested for her murder. Nathan is the son of 49-year-old Anjie Galsworthy, Becky’s stepmother.

16-year-old Watts disappeared from her home two weeks ago on February 19. Earlier this week her body parts were found two miles from the centre of Bristol.

Nathan will appear in court charged with her murder alongside his girlfriend, Shauna Hoare 21 (pictured below). The couple were arrested last weekend. The pair was initially charged for kidnapping but before the deadline was due to either charge them or let them go Somerset police announced they had been charged, saying there was enough evidence to point the finger at them.

Nathan who lives in Cotton Mill Lane, Bristol was charged for the murder while Hoare was charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice.

Matthews works as a delivery driver and according to his Facebook page he served in the British army. He and girlfriend Shauna have a young child and share their home which is located opposite the house where Becky’s boyfriend lives.

Police is questioning five people more people on suspicion of assisting an offender.
