Jeremy Collins: Cambridge Firefighter/ Survivor Contestant

36-year-old Jeremy Collins belongs to the Hunahpu tribe in the new season of Survivor: San Juan Del Sur.

Doing some research on him we found he is a Cambridge Firefighter currently living in Foxboro, Mass. Our hearts melt when he talked about his inspiration in life, the muscular fire fighter said

My mom because she helped raise seven children while my dad worked. I don’t know how she didn’t lose anyone and she fed and put clothes on our backs – not to mention the amount of laundry she had to do.

So far, we have he is definitely a brave man –judging by his profession –but also, you  have a sensitive man who looks up to his mother. Now, he might have a nice smile but don’t get your hopes up, he is already a married father.

In fact, Jeremy and his wife, Valesay “Val” –a Foxboro Police Officer –are both contestants on the show or at least she used to. Jeremy’s wife was unfortunately voted off, she is the first in Survivor history to be voted out with two fake Idols.

The lovely couple are also, proud parents of two adorable girls.

According to his profile for the show, Jeremy enjoys basketball, working out and most of all, as a passionate football fan and former New England Surge wide reciever, he enjoys fantasy football and coaching his daughters.

The athletic, straight forward and smiley dad of two said he was on the show for the money but claimed his personality, body type and mind set is perfect for the game.

When it comes down to play, the 14-year-firefighter vet is ready to be fierce, he also said he’ll be a monster at physical challenges and his ability to make people feel like he likes them even if he doesn’t will help in the blindsides.

Val relied on her background as police officer for the game but her time came to an end and she has been voted off.

Jeremy still has a chance to become the sole Survivor and his wife, and family will sure be rooting for him! Do you think he has a better chance now that he doesn’t have to worry about his wife being hungry, cold and tired?
