Actress Valerie Harper has revealed to People Magazine that she has terminal brain cancer. The 73-year-old TV icon said that doctors say she has about three months left to live.
In 2009, Valerie, who described herself as “a lifelong non-smoker,” was diagnosed with lung cancer, which she fought with a combination of chemotherapy and radiation, and kept it private. But she tells People now:
“I’m well past my expiration date already.”
Valerie Harper and her husband Tony Caciotti has an adopted daughter, Cristina Cacciotti, born in 1983, who is also an actress. She had a small role on “Zoochosis Presents: Hooey” and appeared in 2 episodes on “That 70’s Show”.
Cristina is a self employed executive assistant in Santa Monica, California. She describes herself as “Just another rockstar chasing her inner ballerina, with a sprinkle of crazy”, according to her Twitter profile.
