Kevin Hart, the actor and comedian who had roles in movies like Paper Soldiers, Scary Movie 3, and Along Came Polly, has just settled a divorce agreement with ex-wife Torrei Hart, after seven years of marriage.

Being worth a reported $9 million, Kevin Hart may have just pulled off the biggest bargain basement divorce in Hollywood. He will have to pay his ex a sum of $175,000.

Torrei also gets an Escalade and personal stuff like jewelry. 32-year-old Kevin Hart will pay $19,785 a month in support for their children. Torrei had first asked for $90,000 a month! Unfortunately, the judge did not agree.

Kevin married Torrei Hart in 2003 and had two children together: 8-year-old daughter, Heavenly Lee Hart (born in 2006) and 5-year-old son Hendrix Hart (born in 2008). In February 2010, the couple filed for divorce over “irreconcilable differences” and became final in November 2011. Kevin requested joint custody and looked to prevent Torrei from receiving money in the divorce, saying that she is a comedian as well with sufficient income to support herself.

Torrei Lorin Hart was born on Feb. 28, 1978. She is 35 years old. Torrei currently lives in Tarzana, California. Before that, she lived in Los Angeles, CA, and in Sicklerville, NJ, from 1997 to 2006.

Torrei Hart is a comedian. According to her Twitter profile, she is also “a mother, actress, writer, and producer”. She got a few of her girls together, with fellow writer and actress Simone Shepherd, to film a hilarious spoof of Basketball Wives LA, where she once impersonated her husband.

Torrei has appeared in the 2010 short film The Captive, in the 2013 movie The Jack Story (which is on pre-production stage), and is rumored that she will have a role in the movie Big & Beautiful planned for this year.

The pair’s relationship troubles have made their way into both of their stand-up acts. Even though rude remarks were made about one another over the course of the divorce, Kevin says there are no hard feelings:

“We just didn’t work out, but we’re friends.”

Kevin began his career as a comedian when he performed stand-up at an amateur night club in Philadelphia. After that, he began entering comedy competitions throughout Massachusetts. His inspiration comes from role model comedians such as Bill Cosby, Chris Rock, Eddie Murphy, and Dave Chappelle.
