Rebecca Johnson is the wife of Kentucky State Representative Dan Johnson. Her husband was 57, when he killed himself, after being accused of molesting a 17-year-old female member of his church in 2012, now identified as Maranda Richmond, 21. He denied the charges and refused to resign after the Republican party requested his resignation.

Rebecca Johnson’s husband was born on October 18, 1960, in Mount Washington, Kentucky. Prior to being elected to the state house in 2016, he was a bishop at the Heart of Fire Church in Louisville.

Dan Johnson and his wife Rebecca tied the knot on February 14, 1987.

She was born Rebecca Long, in 1961. Together they had four children; Sarah, Danielle, Judah and Boaz Rush.

Rebecca stood by her husband’s side when she spoke to reporters, following the news of her husband’s alleged sexual assault case.
