Misty Head is the lovely and supportive wife of The Voice finalist, Sundance Head. Her husband is just one performance away of possibly being crowned, season’s 11 winner.

Misty Head’s husband was born Sundance Head on January 22, 1977. The Houston, Texas native is the son of singer Roy Head. His father –who charted 24 titles on Hot Country Songs in 1974-85 –is best known for his hit “Treat Her Right.”

Sundance who has music running through his veins, has been making his thing under team Blake.

Accoridng to his NBC bio, Sundance lost his older brother to a tragic car accident –which led his father to slow down his music career.

Sundance recorded with ZZ Top through a connection from his dad, but started to play music professionally 13 years later after he left his job in the oil business.

He is known in the music scene in Texas thanks to his band named after him.

The Voice is not the first time Sundance takes his chances on reality TV. According to his website, Head appeared in season six of American Idol, finishing in 13th place.

However, he became the first American Idol contestant in history to score a recording contract with a major record label, without finishing in the Top 12. Sundance signed with Universal Motown but has since moved.

The singer also plays multiple instruments including guitar, bass guitar, and piano. Sundance is also a talented and sought-after songwriter, having written for ZZ Top, among others.

While being on the show, Sundance debuted atop Billboard’s Hot Christian Songs chart, with the song, “Me and Jesus,” initially a No. 8 hit on Hot Country Songs for Tom T. Hall in 1972.

The 37-year-old singer is currently a married man.

Misty Head was born Misty Byrd. According to her social media info, pretty Misty Head is originally from Humble, Texas. She attended Humble high school, graduating in 1997.

Misty Head and Sundance have been together for 17-years and married for nine blissful years. As a true fan and believer of what he does, Misty Head serves as Sundance’s manager. Misty’s nickname for her man is ‘big sexy.’

Aside from being his manager and wife, Misty Head is also the mother of the couple’s three children, including son, Levi Aaron Head.

Misty also serves as his press contact and booking agent.

According to a Gofundme page, Misty and her hubby lost everything due to the flood.

Under the about section of her Facebook profile, Misty Head writes:

She also adds: “I have the best husband in the world… his name is Sundance and yes this is his name. two beautiful babies a 2yr old son ‘levi’ and a 1yr old daughter ‘persais’ they are my life and i could not live a day without them”
