Christopher Evan Welch, was the gifted actor who portrayed Grant Test in the television series Rubicon passed away on December 2nd, 2013 at 48 to complications to lung cancer. Mr. Welch is survive by his wife Emma Roberts Welch, their daughter June Harper; his mother, Katherine Welch Burke; his father, William; his brother, Derek; and his sister, McKenna Marx.
Christopher Evan Welch was born on September 28, 1965 in Ft. Belvoir, Virginia. He earned a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from the University of Dallas and a master’s from the University of Washington.
Mr. Welch appeared in several television series throughout his career, like Third Watch in 1999, The Practice in 2001, Law & Order: Criminal Intent in 2003, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in 2005, Book of Daniel and The Sopranos in 2006, Nurse Jackie in 2009, The Good Wife, Gravity and certainly Rubicon in 2010.
Last year we saw Christopher Welch as Samuel Abbott in Elementary, and this year he collaborated in Golden Boy and Silicon Valley.
Welch starred in the big screen in films such as The Stepford Wives, The Interpreter, War of the Worlds, The Good Shepherd, was the narrator in Vicky Cristina Barcelona and gave a superb performance in Lincoln.
