Nancy Booth is the lovely wife of veteran actor, Robert Englund –whom you might know as infamous killer, Freddy Krueger.



Nancy’s husband has been scaring the **** out of children and adults for years. Born Robert Barton Englund on June 6, 1947; the California native was first casted in Wes Craven’s hugely successful A Nightmare on Elm Street in 1984.

He went onto reprides the Freddy Krueger roles in A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge (1985), A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987), A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master (1988),A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child (1989), Freddy’s Dead: The Final Nightmare (1991), Wes Craven’s New Nightmare (1994) and Freddy vs. Jason (2003).

Though it was this role which catapulted Englund to fame, before Freddy, he already had appeared in a number of projects both on screen and theater.

Robert –who began studying acting in his teens, attended UCLA for three years but ultimately graduated from Michigan’s Oakland University, where he trained at the Meadow Brook Theater. Following five successful years performing in regional theater, he made his film debut after landing a supporting role in the film Buster and Billie.

Other roles following the Freddy success have included, The Phantom of the Opera and The Mangler. Robert has also appeared on TV, according to his website, in the mid 80’s he starred in the hour-long network TV series, Downtown.

Robert who has made countless guest appearances and is regarded as a horror icon, has been married three times. The actor first married in 1968 to Elizabeth Gardner –a nurse. The two divorced in 1986. He and second wife, Roxanne Rogers were married from 1986 until 1988.

Nancy Booth became his third wife in 1988 and the couple has been together ever since.

Nancy or Mrs. Krueger, is also an actress, not as famous as her husband but she knows how things work in the business. According to her IMDb page, she had a number of roles including, the 1987 film, Master of the Universe; the 1991 film, Late for Dinner, The Kindred.

She and Robert met on the set of 976-EVIL (1988), in which she is the voice of “Horrorscope”.

Nancy Booth and her husband own a cottage-style Laguna Beach home. She happens to be on the board at the Laguna Beach Garden Club. The Englunds moved there from Los Angeles in 1989.

The two were married October 1, 1988 in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
  
Is always nice to see long lasting couples in Hollywood and even thought the couple has no children is needless to say, Nancy has kept supportive of her husband’s career.
