Michael Wainstein is the investor husband of new Real Housewife of New York City, Julianne Wainstein. His fashion designer wife is allegedly not coming back to RHONY!

Jules opened up during the Real Housewives of New York City reunion and talked about her eating disorder and pending divorce from Michael Wainstein.

The Mommy, Housewife, & Entrepreneur made her debut on season 8 of RHONY. The founder Modern Alkeme is currently in the process of getting divorced after eight-years of marriage.

Michael filed for divorce from Jules back in July; with parties accusing the other of physical assault. He was also seen holding hands with his new married girlfriend, Elyse Bensusan, just days later.

44-year-old Michael Wainstein has been successful in the business sector. He is a founder and principal of the Private Capital Group. His company focuses on energy and new media.

His estimated net worth was said to be approximately $25 million for this year.

Michael Wainstein is a graduate of New York University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. He also holds a degree from New York Law School.  According to his profile on Crunch Base, he is admitted to the New York Bar.

Michael has been investing in and completing reverse mergers since 1997. He founded Private Capital Group (PCG) in 2001. This private equity company invests and manages money in a number of different companies.

Among the businesses Michael has made direct investments are, Petcarerx.com and Priority Staffing Solutions. He also co-founded Enterconnect, Inc. and Hampton BioFuels, Inc.

He and Jules tied the knot on March 9th, 2008. Together they are the parents of two children: son Jagger and daughter Rio.

According to their NY Times Wedding announcement, Michael is the son of f Fanny Wainstein and Dr. Sasha Wainstein of Hewlett Bay Park, N.Y. His father is a urologist with Urologic Surgical Associates in Brooklyn.
