Kori Ali Muhammad has been apprehended by police in Fresno after the 39-year-old randomly set out to kill people.



The shooting spree took place in Central Fresno according to reports. Kori killed three people before being arrested Tuesday afternoon. He is also the man responsible for the killing of a security guard several days ago outside a nearby motel.

According to Fresno police chief, the attack was not related to terrorism. He said instead, it was a random act of violence. However, Muhammad’s victims were white. Social media accounts linked to Muhammad, who is black, expressed anti-white and anti-government sentiments.

He is sad to have yelled “Allahu Akbar” during the killings. Muhammad used the alias “Black Jesus,” officials said. His Facebook page, which is no longer running, was loaded with black lives matter propaganda.

During Tuesday’s attack, Muhammad shot randomly, “spraying rounds” at at a downtown crowd while shouting “Allahu Akbar.”

According to the Fresno Bee, the gunman opened fire at four locations, including a Catholic Charities facility, where he killed a man in a parking lot. He also shot a man in a front yard, and then another person at a bus stop, totaling three fatal victims.

The deranged man was said to have fired a total of 16 rounds in less than a minute, Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer said. Kori Ali was already a wanted man after he is the main suspect in a separate slaying that occurred last Thursday. According to news outlets, he used a ‘revolver-styled gun’ as a weapon.

Kori Ali Muhammad also known as Kori Taylor was very vocal on his Twitter account as well. His social media posts include references of Donald Trump being labeled a ‘white devil.’

Court records show he was arrested in 2005 on federal drug charges and pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine base with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm with a prior felony conviction. He received 110 months in prison, along with 92 months of supervised release, which ended in September 2016.

One of the court documents apparently shows he also suffered from mental health issues. A motion for a psychiatric hearing because his attorney said he was suffering from hallucinations, paranoia and psychosis.

He is currently in police custody.
