Kate Prusack is the ‘life partner’ of 2016 Libertarian Party presidential nominee, Gary Johnson. Her man, might not make a good US president after all.

According to reports, Johnson doesn’t knot what ‘Aleppo’ is! The 63-year-old revealed a surprising lack of foreign policy knowledge on Thursday.

Kate’s husband had to explained during the interview by Mike Barnicle, an MSNBC commentator, about the center of Syria’s refugee crisis. Mr. Johnson indicated that he really was not aware of the city.

Gary Earl Johnson was born January 1, 1953; in Minot, North Dakota.

He was elected Governor of New Mexico as a Republican in an overwhelming Democratic state – and re-elected to a second term by a wide margin despite being challenged by a popular and well-known Democrat.

The former New Mexico governor is also known for his entrepreneurial success. Johnson graduated from the University of New Mexico in 1975.

In order to pay for college, he started a door-to-door handyman business. Two decades later, the one-man-shop had grown into one of the largest construction companies in New Mexico.

He earned national accolades for his leadership in handling the Cerro Grande Fire that swept across the state in 2000. He also cut taxes 14 times while never raising them. He balanced the state’s budget, and left New Mexico with a billion-dollar surplus.

He first ran for presidential election in 2012 as a Republican.

Kate Prusack is a realtor based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The couple first met in 2008 while biking. They have been engaged since 2014.

Johnson was first married to Dee Simms. The couple tied the knot in 1977 but divorced in 2005. He is the father of two grown children with Simms: daughter Seah and a son Erik. Dee Simms suddenly died in 2006.

Accoridng to her profile on Realtor.com, Kate Prusack grew up in Pennsylvania. She attended Goddard College in Vermont, where she earned her  BA in photography. She moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico, in 1979. Prusack has been a real estate agent since 1990.

Her Facebook page shows Prusack and Johnson’s love of the outdoors. Skiing, biking and hiking appear to the couple’s favored activities. Johnson is an accomplished athlete, having climbed Mt. Everest in 2003.

Kate told the Daily Caller in 2011, they are yet to walk the isle because Prusack is too busy traveling.

Accoridng to GQ magazine, the couple live together in a home in Taos, New Mexico.
