Eva Gonda Lyft’s Logan’s Green Wife

Eva Gonda

Eva Gonda is the lovely wife of Logan Green –the co-founder of Lyft, the ride-hailing service is Uber’s greatest rival.

Eva’s hubby scored success when in 2007 he founded Lyft, the on-demand ridesharing platform along with Zimride as the first of two products built to create a more social, sustainable and affordable transportation system. We all know the story, Logan had been fascinated by innovation in transportation and having grown up in Southern California with much of his childhood spent stuck in traffic.

Logan went to the University of California, Santa Barbara, which was close to his family’s home in L.A.

He decided during his college years that he would leave his car at home and challenge himself to get around through a mix of ride shares and public transportation. Over the years, Logan tried everything including Greyhound, Amtrak and Craigslist to hitch rides back to L.A., where his then-girlfriend (and future wife) Eva Gonda was going to college. But the trips weren’t always smooth.

Logan also created the first car-share program at UC Santa Barbara and served on the board of the Santa Barbara Metropolitan Transit District prior to starting Zimride.

As of last year, Lyft provides over 1 million rides a day and this year is ready to make its Ottawa debut.

Logan and his wife, Eva have been hitched for a few years now. According to online records, the couple tied the knot on September 2011. Together are the proud parents of twin sons.
