Anjulie Persaud is the talented girlfriend of funny man and TV host Bill Maher –best known for his HBO political talk show Real Time with Bill Maher.



Though the two have not been very vocal about their relationship the alleged couple has been dating for a few years now and have been photographed together a number of times.

You might think Maher is the famous half of the couple, however you might be surprised to learn Anjulie is actually an award winning singer/songwriter. In fact, she describes herself on social media as a ‘Juno award winning Platinum selling singer, songwriter, artist, producer’

Anjulie Persaud was born May 21, 1983 in Oakville, Ontario; the youngest of four children is the daughter of Indo-Guyanese, parents.

Due to her roots she felt isolated while growing up. During an interview she revealed that in middle school, “the black kids would be on one side and the white kids would be on the other… so I would mostly hang out by myself and write” But don’t fell to bad about Persaud –since that fact, marked the beginning of her songwriting career.

Anjulie who began composing her own music as a teenager has toured with Shwayze and Bobby Ray aka B.o.B. In 2009 she opened for Jesse McCartney during his United States tour. That same year she released her debut album. As a songwriter she has written hit songs with a number of artists, including Kreesha Turner’s “Don’t Call Me Baby” and Nicki Minaj’s “The Boys.”

Much of her lyrics have also landed on TV. Her song “Boom” was used on Canada’s Next Tope Model and The Vampire Diaries. She also produced the theme song for Maher’s HBO show, Real Time.

Despite their 27-year-age difference the pair got together in 2014 and were photographed together while vacationing in Hawaii in 2015. Her man was in previous relationships with author Karrine Steffans, Playboy Cyber Girl CoCo Johnson, and neuroscientist Cara Santa Maria.
